So, today we finished the painting and have put the beds together and stuff. Here is a little sneak peek................This is Chlo... Not me... I don't have the gumption to wear striped leg warmers. Just sayin'.

The Muffins That Are No Longer...

Today, I made blueberry muffins.
The were divine.
And I forgot to take a picture of their beauty.
And then I ate 5.
And now the muffins are no more.

Antique-ing!!

OK.
So today we primed the Girl's room (again) and went antique shopping!
I found a FABULOUS light switch plate and some wire decorative things I am not sure what I'll do with....


This afternoon, Mama was thinking about the state our house is in at the moment and we decide to call in back-up.
Yup.
Grandma's coming to visit!
We will finish the rooms, possibly paint the kitchen cabinets (scary!!) and who-knows-what-else!
Fun, Fun!!
(But now this week long project may be drawn out a bit longer. Like maybe a month. ish.)


Also, today while antique-ing, I found the MOST PERFECT VANITY EVER!!!
But, I will have to have Mama help me pay for it... So we shall see how that goes.....

Day....2? of REDECORATING!!

Ok... So today we didn't get much accomplished besides shopping, buying, eating cake,

and chatting with friends. With a few cows, chickens, and horses thrown in for good measure. Of course. So, today we bought the paint for the girl's room. It is called lemonade and it is FAB.


And I got a quilt! The quilt will be my one big splurge because, well, it was perfect and I couldn't live another day without it!! Isn't that how shopping usually goes? No? oh. right.

Tomorrow we shall tape the base boards to paint, possibly paint, and not eat cake because my sister dropped it.

Not a pretty sight.The car or the look on my mom's face. Yikes.

In the Beginning....

This is the beginning of my blog. The ever-so-important first post. The make- it-or-break-it moment of weather or not your time will be wasted in reading about my life. Well, weather or not you decide to stay, here I go.


We are in the middle of re-decorating and moving around 3 of our bedrooms. (the kid rooms) My room currently looks like this:

And when I went to get some socks, I had to defy gravity and carefully open the drawer, as not to disturb the tea cup resting atop the leaning tower of boxes.
